When you had bought the Xbox 360 first, you may have liked its looks. But after having seen it in the same design for more than a year can become boring. It becomes like a sore in your eye and you want to replace it with some other better Gaming console. While you can’t buy a Gaming console every now and then, you can try out the mods that make the old console look like a new one and unique (I mean how many people own an Xbox 360 today, with the same White box and a green switch-on light). These mods that I have collected are the best ones you can find anywhere. You will surely love most of them. So, here is the list of best Microsoft Xbox 360 Mods available out there. The numbering is completely rapid and is not based on any kind of ranking.

After using the XBox 360 for a long time and comparing it with the Sony’s PS3, this is the best thing you can do to it. This mod turns the Xbox 360 into a super useful Tissue machine and for the pleasure, it has a built in Digital Clock too.

The Matrix “mod” looks good? Are you kidding me? That looks like crap on toast. The way the sticker shows bits of the system’s plastic, which clash horribly with its design, is tacky and horrible.
There are way cooler mod’s out there. There are some good ones here but please, the whole LED/window thing is so 90′s.
These are nice mods, but maybe you should get your facts right before you post something, You’ve made a lot of mistakes here.

I am really sorry for that, I should have read the Article at least once before making it live. I have fixed all mistakes I made, the Longhorn Mod and the Matrix Sticker are now removed. You actually put in case mods, thinking they could top a car. It’s a CAR.
I’m sorry but the off the shelf cases are hardly mods. A mod should be something that takes a little skill to do like putting in a window, repainting, modding the DVD drive or successfully replacing the cover of a hard drive with a window. There is no danger of screwing up with just replacing the case. Not to say that the off the shelf case mods are horrible its just they are to easily done to be put up there with real mods like the 360 laptop or the halo battlefield mod at #20.
I love how the idiot poster of this knocks Halflife fans because of the casemod by saying appeasing fanboys, but clearly this kid is a ps3 fanboy because of his number 1… saying the ps3 is superior? They are based on the same technology for the most part, with a some variations, but overall they run about the same. While some titles run a bit better on the ps3, and some run a bit better on the xbox 360. It really depends on who the developer of the game pushes the game for harder. Notice games like fallout 3, rainbow 6 vegas 2. that look better on the 360 but games like gta4 which have a more gritty look to them that gives you a better realistic gameplay experience on the ps3. Anywho, Most mods on here are pretty note worthy, and took some skill, very few case swaps overall. Let the fanboy flaming begin!

MOD’ing a stock case is a mod although honestly who wants to sit there and MOD a hardrive think about it the only real thing you can do is allow it to read burned games which is honestly pointless cause microsoft just keeps comming up with ways to prevent you from being able to play those games online which in all reality is the point of having and xbox. In addition, modding the case voids your warranty cause you have to break the sticker in order to do so. although yes we all know you can take the sticker off with otu breaking it, in its entirety but microsoft isn’t stupid honestly. but if you mod the case or put some cool fans in with lights or twin fans to keep your system cooler thats enough honestly cause voiding your warranty is enough but having to deal with more bs with fixing your xbox because someone like you wants to be cheap and flash your disk drive so you can play burned games yea. your waisting yoru time eventually all that will stop really soon. That why microsoft has required updates to fix those things. don’t get me wrong if you ahve a second system you want to tweak and toy around with yea have at it but it’s not going to last to much longer till microsoft finds a way to prevent it.

lol people need to stop arguing about which consoles better. in the end it all comes down to what you prefer as a gamer. you can argue that the xbox 360 is a spaztic golden retriever that occasionally pisses itself and dies. but others could argue that the ps3 is a big dumb black lab that while being slow brings you your slippers every morning. of course the nintendo wii is a yapping lapdog that while being annoying is good with kids. my point is you could argue until your eyes start bleeding and your fingers fall off from typing but that fact remains that at the end of the day your not going to change anyone elses mind.
besides if you have to argue that your console is superior then its not because a truly remarkable console speaks for itself fanboys

@Harry Potter: Every mod we have listed here voids warranty. In fact, the only reason people don’t mod their 360′s is because of the warranty.
I really like the idea behind the Tissue and Clock mod because it’s true, when you’ve owned an Xbox long enough, you realize that’s all it’s good for. The PS3 can handle so much more than the Xbox can, and PS3 doesn’t have interior AND exterior problems quite as often as the Xbox. When you’ve had an Xbox for 2 years and you’ve gotten the Red Ring 8 times, 5 of which happen right after you plug the Xbox in right after getting it back from Microsoft, you realize you should invest your money into something that actually works.

i am so fucking tired of people bashing 360 just because they’re system took a shit and they’re mad, the xbox and ps3 have basically equal processors and while ps3 may have better games xbox 360 has a FAR better online service, not to mention its smaller and and easier to mod. but im not saying that xbox 360 is way better than ps3, the ps3 has free online service and downloads, built in wifi and blu-ray capable. so which is better neither. though i prefer 360, im not going to sit here and argue about because they’re both simply great systems, i just have my opinion

got an original xbox 360 5 yrs ago – no issues – got 4 ps3′s at home – all from people who were silly enough to buy a thousand dollar paper weight – one came with no sony-os installed!!?, even bill gates aint stupid enough to do that- all still under warranty but getting no help from sony – they all went out and bought xbox’s and havn’t looked back – at the end of the day – the only ppl baggin xbox’s are sony users cause once you’ve had both – you’ll never go back to a sony

My 360 over heats alot i srnt it to get fix 4 times and it still does the same thing, i can play it for and hour or so and its fine if i turn it off and turn it back on the fans rev up and sthe system shuts off then i can let it sit for and couple of days 3-5 and turn it back on and its fine for a day or two, i dont have the money for a new and frankly getting tierd of it just need a simple fix or a major one if there is any one out there with a cooling fix let me know please
