The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Phone
Long have we been waiting for a real Sony Ericsson Touch Screen phone. We must admit that the P990 and the likes were good Touch Screen Phones, but they lacked many features other phones in the same category. The XPERIA X1 has a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and a Touch screen. The XPERIA X1 runs Windows Mobile 6 operating system. It has a 3 inch TFT VGA (800 x 480) touchscreen display which has got 65,536 colors. The Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1 is mainly focused on the multimedia and mobile web communication features.
The phone has a mere 400MB of on board memory which is expandable va the microSD slot. The XPERIA is a quad-band GSM/EDGE phone that supports almost all frequencies available in UK and the US.

Here is a Commercial of the Sony XPERIA X1 Mobile phone.
The Phone may look cool. However there are a couple of things that might get in way of buyers considering XPERIA as their next phone:
1) It has a memory of 400 MB only.
2) It runs Windows Operating system. Please note here that this feature of Xperia will only bother the Microsoft Haters, which are quite few now on the Planet we call Earth.
The Phone was announced to ship in October 2008 but the shipping has been delayed till January 2009. There is no talk about the price yet, but it should be around $600-$800.
