If you have been waiting for an Android powered mobile phone, we have got news for your. Samsung has at last announced that they will be launching an Android mobile phone in June this year. The mobile phone, named Samsung i7500 will be introduced in the major European countries first and then launched worldwide. The Samsung i7500  is a 11.9-mm slim quad-band GSM phone with tri-band 7.2Mbps HSDPA (900/1700/2100MHz). It has got a standard 3.5mm headset jack and comes with built-in 8GB memory plus a microSD card slot which supports upto 32 GB on memory. The Samsung i7500 Android phone has a candybar design and sports a 3.2″,  320 x 480 pixel AMOLED touchscreen. Other notable features include WiFi, GPS, 5 megapixel camera with Power LED, 1,500mAh battery etc. However we wish that it had a 8.0 Megapixel camera like the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition mobile phone. There is no word about the price of Samsung i7500 yet.
