DivX Certified HDTVs from Panasonic
Panasonic has announced that it will soon be launching its series of DivX certified HDTVs. The New HDTVs will enable consumers to easily playback high-quality DivX video straight onto the television and that too on a cutting-edge 1080p full-HD flat panel.
For those that don’t know what the DivX is, DivX Inc. is a digital media company that enables consumers to enjoy a high-quality video experience across any kind of device. DivX creates, distributes and licenses digital video technologies that span the “three screens” comprising today’s consumer media environment-the PC, the television and mobile devices. The HD Movies and TV shows distributed over the internet are mostly DivX and by introducing a DivX certified TV, Panasonic has become the first to inititate such a move. The New HDTVs will incorporate next-generation plasma display panels (PDPs) known as NeoPDP technology of Panasonic to offer superior picture quality,with higher efficiency and thinner dimensions. the New Series will consist of Panasonic VIERA Z1, V10 and G15 series an will be abailable in Europe.
