While things are getting cheaper and cheaper everyday (thanks to recession), some stuff is still expensive that no sane person will ever buy it.

These are the hard times for all the people of the world. Economic Recession has affected a lot of people and as such, gadgets and other everyday products are getting cheaper by the day. Companies all over the world are producing stuff keeping in mind the bad economical times. Still, if you have a few million dollars to spare and would like to buy stuff that no one else will, here is the list. Given below are some of the items are too expensive when compared to their ‘common’ counter parts.

Diamond Encrusted Earphones

These earphones are not for those who think twice before buying $50 plastice earphones for iPods. What you are looking at is a pair of earphone made of 18 carat gold and encrusted with diamonds. These diamond-encrusted earphones were originally made by renowned Belgium based jeweler, Casa Gi and were on sale at Clive Ranger jewelry shop in Bristol in Novmber 2008. In total, this pair of earphones has 118 diamonds, 59 on each.

WIth $25 Million price, it surely is the world’s most expensive car and will remain so for many years to come.

Xbox Shoes

Price: $4,000 (Link)

We reported this earlier, it was up for a price of $2,500 in an Auction on eBay. However it was sold for $4000.99. There isn’t much to talk about these shoes except that they feature a ‘glow in the dark’  Xbox logo and can’t play games.
