@Dave Maybe that’s why the company promotes them as Keyboards. Not everything that does work same as computer can be called a computer.

“Optimus Tactus”, a.k.a. a tablet PC. Wake up, sheeple. Not all flashy technology is new, useful, or even properly marketed. It’s not a keyboard. It’s a touch-screen computer. If it were a touch-screen keyboard, it wouldn’t be doing all the other fancy stuff computers do.

I have the original G15, and I didn’t realize that there was a G19. I just may have to pick it up at some point, although the price tag is a bit steep. Oh well.

Has anyone tried switching over to the Dvorak keyboard configuration from the standard qwerty?

The qwerty keyboard was configured to keep the keys which were levers with letters attached that banged onto ink,–anyway,, but for efficient typing,–like if someone was out to set a world record speed typing–the most efficient keyboard is the Dvorak. [212 wpm]

Dvorak studied letter frequencies and the physiology of people’s hands and created a layout with many advantages.
